Wonder Festival 2016 [summer] that was held on July 24th 2016.
I’ve visited the Wonder Showcase booths, one of the main attractions of the festival.
Let me introduce them!

About Wonder Showcase

Wonder Showcase is a brand producing chosen artists from among many figure creators who are active in Wonder Festival.
A lot of remarkable creators have been constantly chosen.
At the Wonder Showcase’s booths, there were lots of incredible works on display and sale.
They were made by 31 artists such as Bakeneko Onmyouji: Tsukikage, Nakagawa Ouka.

The extremely skillful creator who has debuted as a seller in the summer of 2012, was finally chosen to participate in Wonder Showcase. Being artistically talented and equipped with highly remarkable drawing skill as well as dimension constructive skill, Chilmiru has passed the strict standards required by WSC with her recently-gained character designing skills plus sophisticated formative skills.

According to Chilmiru, she has three different world views, “Western Gloomy World”, “Purely Cute Girls with Cat’s Ears” and the “Female Warrior with Japanese Taste” view.
This presented work Bakeneko Onmyouji: Tsukikage represents her third world view and is made fully utilizing every bit of her unmatched talent.
Also, I must mention her staggering sense of color and breathtaking painting skill.

Sukima no Hito, who used to be a CG modeler at a gaming creation company, one day, all of a sudden, decided to be a professional formative artist using ZBrush.

Although this was his first time ever participating in the event as a seller, he was chosen by Wonder Showcase.
His figures are faithfully traced from the original characters and equipped with appropriate quantities of hardness as well as softness. He creates his figures properly following the basics of pretty girl figure’s formative styles but at the same time, he fully reflects his own individualities in his figure creation. Also, he takes full advantage of his digital formative skills in creating small equipment such as incredibly detailed transceivers and realistic backpacks.
