The Quality of the Costumes was Evident
What’s more exciting about this event compared to other cosplay-related events is that the participants give incredible performances. Everything from outfit to props, and from music to stage effects are made by the participants. The moment they set foot on stage you know that you are witnessing months of hard work needed to make everything from scratch.
The COSPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP is both a great entertainment show and a new-born cosplay genre that goes beyond the boundaries of cosplay. This year’s preliminaries were extremely heated and a total of 18 teams (Normally 16 teams) have fought hard for the first place.

There was laughter, tears, love romances, horrors, etc. Every team had their own unique characteristic.
This was the first year they allowed the use of a backscreen. It made the competition distinctive and a lot of teams utilized it in an effective and expressive way.
The Indonesian team’s performance was outstanding and they deserved, if not the first place, at least one of the top spots.
