Spring 2019 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
That was it for the first season of 2019. Many good titles graced our screens, but if we want to be honest, there are too many series in the new season we have been waiting for quite a long time.
The preliminary screening of the Spring 2017 anime Sagrada Reset (Sakurada Reset) was held on 30 May 2017 in Tokyo. The event was hosted by Youji Ueda and attended by Kaito Ishikawa, Kana Hanazawa, and Aoi Yuki, who talked about the charms of the anime. This report is about the talk segment that took place after the screening.
The event began with Ishikawa saying ‘Reset.’ and the audience responding with ‘Reset!’ Yuki, who started attending events since the screening event on 1 April, was greeted warmly with, ‘Welcome back!’, by the audience. Since it was the screening of Episodes 9 and 10, they talked about the highlights of each episode.
Ishikawa and Yuki both chose the last scene from Episode 10 and talked about the highlights packed into that scene. Look forward to the airing of Episode 10 to find out exactly what they were talking about! Hanazawa chose a scene from Episode 9 which showed Haruki’s cute side. Hanazawa said that she wants to say, ‘That’s called love!’ to Haruki who doesn’t realize that she is in love with Kei. With the anime about to move into its second cour, we can’t look away from Haruki’s wavering heart, full of feelings for Kei.
In the next corner, the cast acted out famous lines chosen by their fans on Twitter through an online vote. More than 10,000 fans offered their picks! Here are the lines chosen:
Kei Asai, ‘Haruki, reset.’
Misora Haruki, ‘It’s nice out right meow, isn’t it?’
Sumire Souma, ‘If you nod, it’ll be a promise.’
Shintarou Tsushima, ‘A job means doing things you don’t want to do!’
The corner began with Ishikawa saying Kei’s line. The event began with the ‘Reset’ call and response, and the energy didn’t stop there. ‘Reset’ was called out about four times fusing a mysterious sense of unity throughout the venue.
Next was Hanazawa acting out Haruki’s line. This line was also a talking point at the screening event on 2 May. After the ‘Reset’ line was read out, the audience was already very excited. There was audience participation for the second line too! When Hanazawa said ‘It’s nice out right meow, isn’t it?’, the audience responded with ‘That’s right, meow!’
On the other hand, Sumire Souma’s line is one to which you must properly listen. The audience listened very carefully, applauded, and the baton was handed to the event host, Youji Ueda. He voices Shintaou Tsuhima and his line, ‘A job means doing things you don’t want to do!’, was met with ‘You got that right’ from the audience in the loudest response for the day.
Newly released information was also announced at the event! There are a few new characters coming to the second cour! Takahiro Sakurai will voice Masamune Urachi, the head of Sakurada City Bureau’s task force. Maaya Uchida will voice Michiru, a girl that Kei and the gang meet in the dream world, and Kengo Kawanishi will voice Chiruchiru, who protects Michiru. The cast comments are available on the official website so feel free to check them out!
