Anison artists Luna Haruna and Kotoko appeared at the Hong Kong anime convention ‘C3 in Hong Kong’ on February 11 and sang in front of over 3000 fans!
‘C3 in Hong Kong’ has been held annually since 2009. ‘C3’ stands for ‘Character, Culture, and Contents’, and the convention introduces these three C’s to Hong Kong and throughout Asia. Every year, the festival has been met with great success, with the visitor number in 2016 surpassing 220,000!
Haruna and Kotoko joined on the second day, a Saturday concert event titled ‘Accel World VS Sword Art Online Special Live’. First, Haruna came up on the stage and sang Overfly, the ending theme of the TV anime Sword Art Online: Fairy Dance Arc. Haruna sang four other songs including themes from SAO.
Then, Kotoko came up on the stage to sing her first song →unfinished→, the ending theme of Accel World. Her powerful voice and energetic performance heated up the atmosphere. She sang four more songs.
Kotoko then called Haruna back up to the stage, and together they sang SxW –soul world- from their collaborative mini album SxW EP. It was a rare and precious opportunity for the fans to see Haruna and Kotoko on stage together, and the live concert was filled with roars of joy until the end.
The mini album SxW EP will be released on February 22. The main track, SxW –soul world-, will be featured in the PS4/PS Vita game Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight.
