At AnimeJapan 2017 (25-26 March 2017 at Tokyo Big Sight) the Kadokawa booth held a talk event stage for the second season of New Game! Fourfolium joined the event for a live performance. Yuki Takeda (as Aoba Suzukaze), Megumi Yamaguchi (as Hifumi Takimoto), Megumi Toda (as Hajime Shinoda), and Ayumi Takeo (as Yun Iijima) appeared on stage in fourfolium costumes.
As a special present for the loyal fans, those who bought all six DVDs or Blu-rays of New Game! can get a special OVA (title: ’It is the first time for me to go on a company trip, so…’) when showing the receipt of their purchase. At the event, a live audio commentary accompanied part of the OVA. The story is about a company skiing trip and includes many funny scenes like a hot spring bathing scene and a drinking scene. You can buy the DVDs and apply for the OVA only until 31 March 2017, so better get it done soon!
At the end of the event, it was announced that the anime would be represented at the Manga Time Kirara Festa 2017, which takes place on 25 June 2017.

The first season of the new year is just one month away from its finale. It was a great start with many amazing titles that made these past months worth the extra hours we put in front of our sets. Now, it is time for the cold wind to give way to the pink hues of the sakura tree and for the Winter 2018 season to give the anime baton to Spring 2018.
