The second episode of voice actresses Inori Minase and Saori Onishi’s YouTube program has been released. Once again, here are some impressions from the recording process and the two voice actresses in private.
ーWhat to look out for in their room?
Onishi: I think it’s the white furniture! I think one should pay attention to it.
Minase: When we arrived today, there were pink cushions on the set, but she said ‘I don’t want pink!’ and exchanged them for white.
Onishi: That’s not furniture so it doesn’t count! [laugh] I want the furniture at home to be white. Since I like colorful accessories like figures and props, so I want the furniture to be white so it doesn’t get too loud.
Minase: I think a big room is important! I started to throw away things I don’t need. I would think ‘I don’t need it today!’ and throw something away, but then the next day I would realize that it is necessary…
I want to eliminate things that catch my eye immediately [laugh].
ーWhat did you always want to be able to say at work once?
Minase: ‘The person you’re trying to reach is not available right now.’ maybe. I would like to try work related to announcements. I don’t know, I think it would fit. [laugh]
Onishi: I want to say ‘Oshimai’ (‘The End’). In one of my previous works, they wrote ‘Oshimai’ in the last episode to end the story but it didn’t have a voice and that left a great impression on me. I want to try saying it at the very end.
Like at the end of Ghibli movies would be great!
ーWhat would make you happy if someone did it for your birthday?
Onishi: If someone goes out with me! I don’t like being alone on my birthday. Two years ago, I had a shoot alone at my birthday and the staff members bought me a cake, but… I thought that after all, one should spend their birthday with friends. This year I was able to spend time with my fiends, including Inori.
Minase: Yes, I was there! We spent time together starting the day before her birthday and held a birthday party with everyone for Saori! I am happy as long as they congratulate me. I don’t really care about anniversaries and the like. [laugh]
Onishi: So it would be okay to just write a congratulatory message?
Minase: Not a mail, it is important to say it personally! Through a voice message or something! Ah, this year, I have a concert on my birthday, so if you want, please come!
Onishi: Yes, I’ll come!
