The following comment from original creator Pantora Fuyujara was read aloud by Marika Kono: ‘I still can’t quite believe it, but the anime adaptation of In Another World With my Smartphone is here. This story was born the moment that I got my first smartphone, it lived on the internet, became a book, and now is coming to televisions as an anime. I am overwhelmed with feelings to see Touya and the others walk through different worlds. Touya and the others will move, talk, and laugh. I want to thank the staff who breathed life into the characters of the anime IseSuma. I would be happy if many viewers are able to enjoy this anime.’
Director Yanase: ‘The recording has started and these people will be in it. You can also look forward to the part of the cast that hasn’t been announced yet. Everybody has fun while recording. They make me laugh every time.’
Uesaka: ‘I didn’t get to record anything yet, but it seems there are many characters to look forward to. Leen is a cute girl, wearing clothes like a gothic lolita so I can’t wait to work with her.’
Yamashita: ‘Sue is a innocent and naive character, so even during recording I calm the people around me. I hope the character will also reach those who will watch the anime.’
Akasaki: ‘IseSuma is a story about many people finding happiness, so I think that happiness will also reach the viewers. There are days of fights and days of peace. I want you to enjoy them as well.’
Fukuo: ‘This is the first time I am playing a main character. I have many things I am worried about, but I will give my best. Linze has a good eye for people. I am just like her, so I want to join hands with her.’
Uchida: ‘From Touya’s point of view, the world is happy if the anime is happy. Since there are always funny girls gathered if the heroines are together, I hope you won’t be able to get away from the TV during the 30 minutes of one episode.’
Fukuhara: ‘The main character as well as many other characters are unique. As the story develops, the characters start to grow, so you can look forward to that. I am very thankful to the staff and cast who made me feel relaxed when I was feeling insecure because this is my first leading role. I will give my best.’
