The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2018 took place at the east area of Toyo’s Ikebukuro on 27 and 28 October 2018. More than 80,000 viewers (about 14,000 cosplayers) took part last year. This year there were around 105,000 visitors including 20,000 cosplayers.
The event offered a ‘Gachi Satsuei Area’ by camera-maker Canon. Many cosplayers walked through the streets, ate, and drank. Some cosplayers even handed out sweets to photographers.
