There were two events during the Golden Week in Japan that were full of cosplayers. Super Comic City 27, sponsored by Akaboo News Agency, opened its doors at Tokyo Big Sight from 3 to 4 May. It’s one of the largest domestic doujinshi markets for women. Another event was held not far from the Super Comic City, the Tonari de Cosplay-haku in TFT. It was sponsored by the Cosplay-haku Executive Committee and was full of cosplayers, photographers, and visitors!
During the Tonari de Cosplay-haku in TFT, cosplayers were able to take amazing shots inside the building, on the terrace, at Symbol Promenade Park, and at Mizunohiroba Park until 20:00. Cosplayers did their best in producing high-quality costumes and the photographers brought their greatest equipment to take the best possible photos.
Both events had participants from many prefectures like Miyagi. Super Comic City 27 ended at 15:00 so the cosplayers and photographers went to visit Tonari de Cosplay-haku in TFT which had a sudden boom in visitors at around that time.
Anime! Anime! went to the events on both days and took great pictures of 28 amazing cosplayers!
