A talk event was held in October 11 (Tue) with Mikaku Komatsu (Izumi Shimomura who is an Ajin attendant in Ajin Management Committee of Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare), Aya Suzaki (Eriko Nagai who is the sister of the main character Kei Nagai), Director Hiroyuki Seshita, and Sound Director Yoshikazu Iwanami.
Many fans participated in the event which featured the secret story of Ajin – Shougeki – and a surprise lottery!
These are the comments from the guests who appeared on the stage:
‘Its TV broadcast has started and you will realize unexpected things including the contracting characters of Izumi Shimomura and Myers. The last chapter features an original story and you will enjoy comparing the movie to the original. Don’t miss this Shougeki. Come to the theater.’
‘At first I thought it would be difficult to empathize with Kei Nagai since it was like oversea drama, but I was glad to see my brother showing human-like emotions while being an Ajin, especially now that the story progresses to the last chapter.’
Iwanami, Sound Director
‘There are only two days left for the screening period. I hope you all enjoy the movie at the theater to the fullest.’
‘During the screening period, I heard that some of you watched the movie three to four times while checking information in the social networks, and I really appreciate that. The story features a mysterious hero who is undead, but I think a hero that doesn’t seem like one is a true hero. I also appreciate your love towards Kei Nagai, the main character, who grew up with the series. The second season of the TV series has started and it shows a deeper side of the story. I hope you enjoy delicate depiction of their emotions as well.’
