2018 is almost out, guys and girls, and that means that another anime year is ready to take its place.
To help everyone enjoy AnimeJapan 2017 (23-26 March 2017) we bring to you the fourth and final part of our event guide. This time, we explore the creation area, cosplayer’s world, and family anime festival!!
The Creation Area is an area for creators and aspiring creators. It consists of the Seminar Stage and the Production Works Gallery.
The seminar stage is a free workshop-style stage where you can receive practical lectures from famous creators. On Saturday 25 March, ‘Directing for Anime’ and ‘Stage for Animation Jobs Without Drawing Skills’ are scheduled, and on Sunday 26 March, ‘Project Planing of Anime’ and ‘Let’s Experience In-Between.’ All the seminars are rich and unique to AnimeJapan, so if you’re interested in the industry, you should attend!!
Also, there is an audition process for the lectures on the 26th and only people who have submitted entries and passed the audition can win a seat at the lectures.
(*Submissions are now closed.)

This gallery’s theme is ‘Admiration for Anime Creation.’ This is a booth that shows the fun of creating an anime. It uses the 2016 movie Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare. It will show you various roles that can be found in the end credits, together with comments from the staff. This is a wonderful project for fans as well as anime industry applicants.
This will decode what techniques you need to produce an anime and the appeal of each role. It will display actual production materials.

It’s been equipped with premium women’s changing rooms and some official backgrounds. It’s a well-planned space where cosplayers will have the chance to showcase their costumes with the cooperation of online cosplay item shop Acos and cosplay studio Hacosta.
Follow the rules and participate using your own style!! For details on the changing rooms and the cosplay rules, visit the official website.
