Holo is adorable like Senko-san, and both of them have the ability to soothe one’s heart. This is a slice of life and fantasy anime that centers on the devastating yet enjoyable life of Kobayashi who, shockingly, encounters a terrifying dragon who transforms into a cute and cheerful girl. The creature is known as Tohru. To repay Kobayashi’s kindness, as she lets the little girl stay at home, Tohru will be the one to help Kobayashi relieve her stressful life by doing housekeeping and everything she has to make Kobayashi’s life easy.
The anime has a similar introduction to The Helpful Fox Senko-san. Both series introduce main characters who are office workers and end up encountering the cutest supernatural creatures. Tohru and Senko-san are both capable of reducing all the stressors in life by helping with household chores in the most efficient manner. Chobits is a famous anime by CLAMP and one of the most recommended titles in the early 2000s among shojo fans. The anime revolves around Hideki Motusawa, a perverted delusional guy who dreams about having a Persocom, and he luckily finds an abandoned one lying on a garbage dump. While it is initially defective, he is able to activate it and soon comes to life. Things become more complicated and exciting with the existence of this adorable creature.
While Chobits doesn’t involve the presence of a human fox, the cute and lovable Chii will absolutely guide you through the quirks of the most pleasant life, similar to how the furry Senko-san uplifts your mood with her delicious meals.
