The anime Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100-nin no Ouji-sama (Yume100) has announced which season it will be airing in! It will start broadcasting in Summer 2018. A first teaser visual has been revealed that lets us feel as if an adventure is about to begin.
Yume100 is based on a smartphone puzzle RPG game aimed at women. In the story, the heroine is invited to a different world called the ‘Yume Sekai’ (Dream World). She has to go on a journey where she frees princes that are sealed away in rings to stop the evil Yumekui, who eats the dreams of people. The game was first released in 2015 and has been downloaded over 4.5 million times. It mixes the three elements of puzzle, RPG, and romance game with beautiful graphics of over 170 attractive princes. Many popular voice actors are working with the game to voice the many princes.
An anime adaptation of the game was announced in 2016 and details were announced during the 3-year anniversary event of the game called ‘Prince Parade’ which took place on 31 March. There they announced that it would start airing in Summer 2018 and revealed the teaser visual. The visual shows the moment when one of the princes awakes and breaks free from his ring. His name is Avi and he is the prince of Astoria, the Land of Knights. Next to him is Navi, something like a navigator through the game.
