TV anime Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho, which is approaching its 25th anniversary, will collaborate with Weekly Shonen Jump theme park J-WORLD TOKYO for the first time. The event will be held from 3 November until 23 December 2017. Illustrations drawn especially for this event and originally-created chibi characters will be featured on original goods / prizes, mini games, a food menu, and much more!

Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho is a manga that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1994. Protagonist Yusuke Urameshi dies in an accident, seeks resurrection, and defeats yokai with his friends as a spiritual detective. It was adapted into a very popular anime in 1992.

At the first tie-up event with J-WORLD TOKYO, 6 original illustrations and J-WORLD’s original chibi character designs (a total of 12) were produced. The original illustrations feature Yusuke Urameshi, Kazuma Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, Koeman, and Fox-Kurama full-length illustrations besides the chibi world’s Yusuke and co. plus 6 other characters: Karasu, Shinobu Sensui, Kaname Hagiri, Raizen, Yomi, and Mukuro. Original goods, produced with the illustrations, will be free giveaways for mini games during the event.

Original goods can be purchased at the J-WORLD STORE. There is also a blind loot crate available with a great variety of goods. It includes a 75 mm badge, a metal charm, an acrylic key holder (big), one clear file, a power bank, and a business card case.

You can win an acrylic strap, a 56 mm badge, an illustration sheets or a pouch as giveaways at the mini game called Jaoensatsuken Garapon. The prizes of the other mini game, Defeat splendidly: Kurama’s Rose Whip, are acrylic charms, 75 mm sparkly badges, and stickers. The presents given depend on the player’s game results.

There is a total of 6 original foods and desserts. Yusuke Urameshi’s Reigan!! Cake was inspired by Yusuke’s special technique Reigan. On the regular menu are Kurama’s Beautiful Roses Have Thorns, You Know Cake, and only sold after 17 pm is Yoko-Kuruma’s Now’s the Time For Punishment, The Sin That Made Me Angry Is Heavy!! cake and many more.
