It has been announced that the trademark work of novelist Tomihiko Morimi, Yoru wa Mijikashi Arukeyo Otome, will be adapted into an anime movie!

Tomihiko Morimi has demonstrated his distinctive literal writing style in past works such as The Tatami Galaxy (Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei) and Uchouten Kazoku.

The director will be Masaaki Yuasa, widely known for his unique, unrivaled worlds in works such as The Tatami Galaxy, Pingpong THE ANIMATION, and the movie Mind Game. The new movie will feature the same team of creators behind the anime The Tatami Galaxy, a great lineup of amazing staff members who have once again gathered for this wonderful movie production:
