The Japanese idol group Wasuta (The World Standard) – Hazuki (Pastel Yellow), Nanase (Pastel Green), Miri (Pastel Purple), Ririka (Pastel Blue) and Ruka (Pastel Pink) – has performed for the third time in a row at Japan Expo Thailand on 26 and 27 January 2019. The group gave five mini-concerts for their fans in Thailand but also fom fans throughout Asia, at the Central World complex in Bangkok, Thailand. Their colorful stage costumes have been created to match the new album ‘Cat’ch The World’, which will be released on 6 March 2019.
The new album will also feature the track ‘Kurae! Hissatsu! Neko Punch★ ~ Watashitachi Tatakau Nyakotan [Level 5]’, the music video for which you can watch below.
Wasuta also met their fans in Vietnam during their concert at Kazuna 2018 in December 2018 and also traveled to Spain for the Japan Weekend Madrid in September 2018. Wasuta and Spanish duo Adexe and Nau’s catchy collaboration single titled ‘Yo Quiero Vivir’ (I want to live) has been viewed more than 2.6 million times on YouTube. The video has English, Spanish, and Japanese subtitles.
Each member of Wasuta has left a comment for their fans and about Wasuta’s third appearance at Japan Expo Thailand.
‘This was my fourth time visiting Thailand, and Wasuta’s third time appearing at Japan Expo Thailand. I’m so happy that I got to see our fans again that we haven’t seen in a year, and we also met new fans, too! I’ll work hard to visit Thailand and see our fans again!’
‘I felt that the Thai people, not just our fans, really know how to enjoy themselves watching us on stage, and so many people waved at us with the big smiles after the show. I always feel so much love from this country! We performed some tracks for the first time in Thailand, and I think we were able to present a very ‘Wasuta’ style showcase!’

I really focused on making our concerts interesting for not just the Thai fans, but also for fans who visited from other countries. Wasuta (The World Standard) was formed by the five members Hazuki, Nanase, Miri, Ririka, and Ruka on 29 March 2015. The girls are on a mission to introduce the KAWAII Japanese idol culture worldwide via social media and live showcases. Wasuta is known throughout Asia and Europe and have already performed in France, Spain, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan.
