Universal Studios Japan previously announced that it would be collaborating with Detective Conan, Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Godzilla, Lupin the Third, and Attack on Titan for their Universal Cool Japan 2019 campaign. After revealing only some rough information as to which rides will be used for each series, this time they have also revealed detailed information on the Conan and Lupin attractions!

Detective Conan The Escape

The real escape game is back for you to solve the mystery with Conan and the others!
In a certain mansion, those who participate in a ‘mystery tour’ will face unexpected situations and will have to escape traps to solve the case together with Conan. You will enjoy a large-scale live performance, escape great danger, and feel a sense of accomplishment after this attraction.

Detective Conan Mystery Challenge

Challenge for the whole family! Experience real detective work with the mystery entertainment rally where popular characters come out for the last part and deliver a small show. This kind of rally is also back once again at Universal Studios Japan with new content! With only a message as a clue, detectives young and old can start to unravel and decipher the hints hidden all over the park and will be rewarded with a small surprise at the end.

Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant

‘Food x Mystery’ is the theme of this restaurant! It might be you who holds the key to solving this mystery. Since it was such a big hit last time, the mystery restaurant is back with a new story. The guests encounter an unexpected situation when they visit a new restaurant owned by Sonoko’s family. Only in this world of Detective Conan can you experience the mix of mystery and food in this unique way.

Lupin the Third

Lupin The Third Car Chase XR Ride

Experience this car chase in full speed, only one wrong turn away from tumbling down. With the amazing technology combination of the VR screen and the roller coaster you are able to experience the escape of Lupin from the police inspector first hand – not only with your eyes but also with your body. The story of this ride is original, created under the supervision of original creator Monkey Punch, and features all our beloved characters. Visitors will be able to ride in Lupin’s favorite car and try to escape inspector Zenigata from the deep forest to the edge of a cliff.
