TV anime Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, based on Coolkyoushinja’s manga, will get a second season.
To celebrate the anime’s second season, 189 pages of the manga will be available for a free trial reading on various digital stores in Japan. You can read Mitsuhiro Kimura’s spinoff Kobayashi-san no Maid Dragon Kanna no Nichijou (lit. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life), Ayami Kazama’s spinoff masterpiece selection Kobayashi-san no Maid Dragon: Elma no OL Nikki (lit. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elma’s Office Lady Diary) and Utamaro’s Kobayashi-san no Maid Dragon: Lucoa wa Boku no xx Desu (lit. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Lucoa is My xx)’s first chapter.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is a comedy story about an office lady called Kobayashi and a female dragon named Toru. The anime’s first season aired from January to April 2017. Further details about the second season will be revealed soon.
Originally illustrated merchandise of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid by Coolkyoushinja will be available at Futabasha Online Store. The title also decorates the cover of Futabasha’s Monthly Action April issue, which will be released on 25 February 2019.
The 8th volume of Kobayashi-san no Maid Dragon, the 6th volume of Kobayashi-san no Maid Dragon Kanna no Nichijou, and the 2nd volume Kobayashi-san no Maid Dragon: Elma no OL Nikki were released on 12 February 2019. As a commemoration to the manga’s release, Nico Nico Seiga is currently recruiting ‘Clothes you want Kanna to wear’. Fans can send comments from 12 to 26 February 2019 and Kimura will illustrate the comments that tug on his heartstrings the most.
