Marvel Future Avengers, the first anime in 3 years that Walt Disney Japan will produce in Japan, revealed a new key visual and a broadcast date. The series is based on the characters of the Marvel universe and will start airing every Saturday at 8:00 from 22 July 2017 (re-run every Monday 18:00) on Dlife.
Marvel Future Avengers will feature famous characters from the original Avengers, such as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and Wasp. It will also introduce new anime-only characters like Makoto, a young boy with special superpowers training under the avengers as a ‘future avenger.’ The animation producer is Madhouse, with which Marvel has already teamed up to create the Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade television anime series.
The anime is directed to a young male audience and combines Marvel’s world with everything we love about anime!
Makoto, Adi, and Chloe have been saved by the Avengers from the evil organization Hydra, who were tampering with their genes. Even though they have immense superpowers, they are just kids and thus start training as ‘Future Avengers’ under the real Avengers. Together with the strongest superhero team in the world, the kids start to stand up against evil, until they become true heroes themselves.
