Manga.Tokyo has all the latest info on tha anime adaptation of Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid), the super popular comic currently serializing in Monthly Action. The anime’s broadcast will begin this January, 2017 on ABC Asahi, TOKYO MX1, TV Aichi, BS11.
The anime production will be handled by Kyoto Animation, and Yasuhiro Takemoto will be the anime’s director.

Fhana will sing the opening theme song. The ending theme song will be performed by Dragon Girl’s unit ‘Chorogons’ (Tohru, Kanna, Elma, Lucoa). Tohru’s awesome visual by Kyoto Animation is already out on their official website and Twitter. Please check it out!

Plot

Kobayashi is a tired single female office worker. A beautiful girl in a maid dress, Thoru, suddenly appears before her. With sharp horns and a mighty tail on her body, she is certainly a dragon girl. Thoru tells Kobayashi that she was invited to the house by Kobayashi who was drunk, and Thoru started to work hard as Kobayashi’s maid. Maid + Dragon = Maidragon is super cute! It’s an interracial comedy story between dragon girls and humans!
