Try Knights revealed the main visual, a trailer, opening theme song details, and the staff members!

With character designs by Rihito Takarai and animation by GONZO, Try Knights follows the smart Riku Haruma and the strong Akira Kariya as they are involved in a youthful story about rugby. The new main visual features Riku and Akira and the rest of their school’s rugby team and some of their rivals from different schools. The new trailer gives us a first impression of the animation style and features the opening theme ‘Mugen no Try’ (Endless Try) sung by Shogo Sakamoto (voice of Riku), who also wrote and composed the song.

The series will be directed by Noriyoshi Sasaki (Holmes of Kyoto, Joshi Kausei). Series composition will be done by Makoto Takada and character design is by Kanga Soramoto. The former rugby player Daisuke Ohata joined the production as supervisor and will do a mini segment during the show called ‘Try Knights Rugby Lesson!’, where he will be portrayed as a chibi character. Try Knights will start airing on 31 July 2019, 1:29 (JST).
