Popular online game Touken Ranbu‘s next TV anime adaptation will be produced by ufotable. It has just been announced that it is to be titled Katsugeki Touken Ranbu and will begin airing from July 2017.

We also have some info on the new staff. The director will be Toshiyuki Shirai and music will be handled by Hideyuki Fukazawa, who is widely known for the anime Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works].

We also have the new key visual featuring Izuminokami Kanesada and Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki holding their swords in front of the epic blazing fire.

In addition to these super cool Touken Danshi, we have for you the second PV where Horikawa Kunihiro makes his appearance.
