The newest work of the Tokyo Ghoul series, Tokyo Ghoul:re will be getting an anime!
Tokyo Ghoul is a fantasy manga by Sui Ishida that was serialized between September 2011 and September 2014 in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump. It was followed by Tokyo Ghoul:re which begin serialization in October 2014 and is currently running. The series has sold over 32 million copies worldwide (as of October 2017) and enjoys overwhelming support from readers of different ages.
So far, two anime seasons have been produced. The first season aired in Summer 2014 and the second season, titled Tokyo Ghoul √A, aired in Winter 2015. Tokyo Ghoul:re will be the third season and it will air sometime in 2018.
Along with the exciting news, a teaser visual and promotional video have also been released. Additionally, Natsuki Hanae, who voiced the main character Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul and will also voice Tokyo Ghoul:re protagonist Haise Sasaki, has left a comment for the fans!
