The MANGA.TOKYO staff had its share of summer. Now, all we wish is for the hot and humid weather to go away and give its place to the red and cool autumn.
Toei Animation have announced that they will be producing a CG animation remake of Saint Seiya, with a working title of Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya. The anime will be screened worldwide via Netflix. The series was first adapted into anime in 1986, and even though it has been over 30 years since then, the series is still popular and loved by people all around the world.
Saint Seiya is a manga by Masami Kurumada that depicts the story of an orphan named Seiya and his adventures as a warrior protecting goddess Athena. Other gods like Poseidon and Hades will appear to show us magnificent battles. The first season will cover from the Galaxian Wars arc up to the Silver Saints.
