Keep warm this winter season with the latest anime info at MANGA.TOKYO!
Hello, MANGA.TOKYO otaku readers!
The new season is already here and our writers and dedicated staff (our people really LOVE watching all the new titles) are busy writing their impressions on all the new anime. We will be updating the article every day, so check what they think, especially if you are still unsure which titles you’ll include in your watching list.
We also published the second chapter of our original light novel, Shikigami Girl!
The novel is written by a group of Japanese anime and manga creators who have been involved in many famous works and who have come together under the name Honda-Na, especially for this project. They have created a dream-like story for fans of anime and manga all around the world. Each chapter contains homages to beloved anime and manga, and will teach the reader little interesting tidbits about Japanese life.

But as always, we have another anime news recap for you. Here are the anime and otaku news that had the most page views this last week, 6-12 April 2018!
My Hero Academia is one of the most popular shonen titles of the last few years, and its new cast always makes the top news list. Meet the actors that will voice two original to the anime characters!
When you don’t have sponsors (or when you do and they want to try something new), you crowdfund. If you lucky enough and have a few popular names in your staff list, you might get enough money to create an anime with the help of the fans. That’s what happened with Under the Dog, a science fiction action anime that got funded through Kickstarter and follows the struggles and battles of the girls from the special force team ‘Flowers’.

Antiques and mysteries. These are the two major themes of Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes, and this latest reveal includes the character visuals and introductions for the two main characters.

The new music teaser video features scenes from the manga, Takano drawing drafts, and Kobukuro member Kentaro Kobuchi writing the lyrics!
It’s always sad to hear the passing of a person who dedicated his life to the industry. Read more about the co-founder of Studio Ghibli, Isao Takahata.
When you are popular, you are popular. It’s as simple as that, and one of the most popular anime of the last two decades is going to have a themed cafe collaboration 20 years after it aired on Japanese television.

I am sometimes flabbergasted by the unfathomable imagination of of light novel and manga authors in Japan. This new anime adaptation is based on a manga that follows the story of a little girl who gets a former Self-Defense Force official as a maid. The maid, however, is also lolicon, and loves to dress up little girls in cute clothes.
I have mixed feelings when it comes to 4-koma adaptations, and this new one about manga Miss Beelzebub is no exception, but it seems to be very popular among our readers. It is a four-panel series focusing on Murin, who becomes the personal servant of the devil Beelzebub and lets us take a peek into life in the devil world.
DxD finds itself once more at the top of our list with two articles. The first is a very interesting mini interview with the cast!
