Spring 2019 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
That was it for the first season of 2019. Many good titles graced our screens, but if we want to be honest, there are too many series in the new season we have been waiting for quite a long time.
The upcoming anime adaptation of Negi Haruba’s romantic comedy manga The Quintessential Quintuplets (Gotobun no Hanayome) revealed that it will start airing at 01:28 on 10 January 2018. In charge of the opening theme are the voice actresses of the quintuplets -Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Ito, Ayane Sakura, Inori Minase- under the unit name Nakano Family’s Quintuplets. The title is ‘Gotobun no Kimochi’ (lit. 5 Equal Feelings). Aya Uchida will perform ‘Sign’ as the title’s ending song. The opening theme’s CD will go on sale on 30 January and the single including the ending on 6 March 2019. Furthermore, it has been revealed that a character song mini album will be released on 6 March 2019. Each CD will come with great extras depending on where the CDs are purchased.
Two additional cast members were added to the cast list. Natsumi Takamori is to play main character Futaro’s younger sister, Raiha, and Satoshi Hino is to play his father, Isanari Uesugi.
Futaro is an excellent second grade high school student from a poor family. He starts a tutoring job in order to repay the family’s debt. Futaro is the type to just go his way without minding other people watching.
Ichika is the firstborn of the quintuplets. She is great at taking care of people, but bad at cleaning her room. She is keeping a secret from her sisters…
Nino is the second sister. She treasures her sisters the most, but clashes with Futaro due to her fierce behavior. Nino is good at cooking and is therefore in charge of cooking at home.
Miku is the third sister. She doesn’t talk much and is quite calm, but she is also a maniac that likes military commanders of the Sengoku period. Miku is good at disguising herself as one of her sisters and is therefore often asked to pretend to be one of them.
Yotsuba is the fourth oldest sister. She is full of energy and friendly, and just can’t refuse any request. Yotsuba is good at sports and often helps out the athletic team.
Itsuki is the youngest sister. Although she is serious and the most hardworking quintuplet, her clumsy personality is in the way. She loves to eat and eats the most among the sisters.
Futaro Uesugi is a high school student living in poverty, so when he gets the chance to work, he takes it. Like this, he becomes the tutor of the five heroines of this story. They are quintuplets who are on the verge of failing school, which is why he has to guide them safely to graduation. The struggle is real, but the cuteness-level is also 500% higher than in any other story!
