Fall 2017 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
The MANGA.TOKYO staff had its share of summer. Now, all we wish is for the hot and humid weather to go away and give its place to the red and cool autumn.
On 18 July 2017, the new TSUTAYA Ikebukuro AK Building Store opened, made to connect creators and their fans.
The store will represent the new Japanese culture or ‘popular culture’ and cover many things like anime, manga, movies, games, light novels, music, and more. Fans and creators, as well as idols and voice actors, can use the space at any time for different events. That also includes DJ events for anime fans or release events for CDs, Blu-rays, and books which includes autograph events, high-five events, and exhibitions.
The first floor is built ready to host full-scale live concerts. The inside of the shop can be used in many ways since it has walls that can be removed. The lobby can be used as a bar counter and the lighting can be adapted. The second and third floors offer a large selection of pop culture goods like manga, magazines, CDs, Blu-rays, and various merchandise.
This is a place created to make a meeting between creators and fans possible, so we can look forward to many amazing events there!
