The Island of Giant Insects (Kyochuu Rettou) has revealed more info about the upcoming anime movie, based on a manga series by Yasutaka Fujimi (story) and REDICE (art).
The series got its first anime adaptation in the form of an OVA, bundled with a volume of the manga. The production attempted to crowdfund a project for an anime movie, and a movie will indeed be released in 2020!
Fans can take a first look at the animation in the new teaser video, which celebrated its world premiere at Crunchyroll Expo on 30 August 2019. We have linked the video below along with a gallery of character visuals!
