Legendary shoujo manga series Glass Mask (Glass no Kamen) will open a themed cafe in Osaka on 19 July 2017. The limited edition collaboration between Glass Mask and hospitality company Transit General Office Inc will run at Cheer’s Cafe and Dining in Osaka until 29 August 2017.

Glass Mask is a shoujo manga series about talented actress Maya Kitajima than is well known for its classic shoujo dramatic expressions. The 49th paperback volume of the series was released in 2012, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the 50th volume.

This menu will have 5 items and one of them is the White Eye Parfait. Any of you who have read shoujo manga will recognize the dramatic expression of the characters, where their eyes are completely white. This expression was first encountered in Glass Mask and has been used around 1300 times so far! There are also menu items that bring to mind scenes and characters from the manga, such as the ‘Purple Roses Man Hamburger’ and the ‘Could this be mud? Smoothie’. Everyone who orders from the menu will receive one of 6 original coasters at random.

The cafe will also offer original goods for sale! This time there are four beautiful acrylic key chains with the unique Glass Mask style.
