VIZ Media and Anime NYC have announced that Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, the creators of the Summer 2019 anime Dr. Stone, will attend this year’s Anime NYC (15 to 17 November 2019). The creators will participate in panels, signings, and special events.
Riichiro Inagaki (Eyeshield 21) and Boichi (Origin, Sun-Ken Rock, and Terra Formars Asimov) are the original writer and illustrator of the Dr. Stone manga, which is currently being published by Shueisha. The manga has released 11 volumes, with the English version available by VIZ Media.
Peter Tatara, the Show Director of Anime NYC, said that he is deeply excited to welcome Inagaki and Boichi to Anime NYC. He added that Dr. Stone has taken the world by storm and that Anime NYC is privileged to welcome the creators of one of the year’s biggest manga to the biggest city in America.
