Furthermore, there was a premiere event for The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Those Awaiting a Star took place on 19 August 2017 at Shinjuku Picadilly with Ryota Takeuchi (voice of Elias Ainsworth) and director Norihiro Naganuma attending the event as guests. They talked about what they felt now that the movie was presented to the public and what they thought about the upcoming anime. And because Atsumi Tanezaki (voice of Chise Hatori) couldn’t come to the event due to conflicting schedules, she sent a message to the fans at the venue.
Comment from Sayaka Ohara
I am very happy to be involved in this work as Titania. She is the queen of Fairies and I had a lot of fun playing her with the mysterious atmosphere and like a goddess that humans normally can’t measure. The art and music of this series is breathtaking and the characters are very enchanting. And because the whole thing is related to British fantasy and magic, which I really like, it makes me more excited to work just by being in the studio. Please look forward to the series!
