Tales of Zestiria the X: The Anime Gets a Second Season in 2017

Tales of Zestiria the X has been broadcasting since July 2016 and now it’s heading for its climax. The last episode concluded with the announcement that a second season is already in the works. On September 25, a special program followed by the last episode will be streamed on NIKONIKO Live Broadcast.

The special program will host the voice cast members Ai Kayano (as Alisha), and Noriko Shitaya (as Lailah). It will feature a conversation between the guests and will announce details on the upcoming Blu-ray Box special limited edition that’s scheduled to come out on December 22. It will include bonus material such as a special DVD, a collaborative illustration card of Tales of Asteria & Tales of Link, a special booklet, cast commentary, a three-sided jacket drawn by Akira Matsushima, and a special clear case.

A rebroadcasting of the first season is scheduled to begin on October 4 via BS11 and it will be featured at the event Machi Asobi scheduled to be held from October 8 to October 10. It’s a great opportunity for those who missed the show or just want to watch it again.
