Sword Art Online -Ordinal Scale- was released in Japan on Saturday 18 February 2017 and for the first time, took first place in the weekend Box Office rankings (18 February – 19 February 2017 report).
The lucky viewers that will attend the 8th week of screenings will get an official behind-the-scenes book with amazing info on the SAO movie. The book will include a round-table discussion where the main staff discusses the film’s creation, the release of never before seen setting pictures by abec, the illustrator for the light novel, and many other bonuses!
The book follows an interview style. It will have cuts from the animated movie, various hints and behind-the-scenes information, and comments from the staff members!
Staff Members: Tomohiko Itoh (Director/Screenplay), Shingo Adachi (Anime character design/Visual Director), Reki Kawahara (Original/Screenplay), abec (Light Novel Character Design), Nobuhiro Oozawa (Anime Producer), Shinichirou Kashiwada (Anime Producer), Kazuma Miki (Original Editor, Anime Producer).
It will also include:
・ Original character designs by abec
・Shingo Adachi fixations on the costume material
・Design and explanation of the last boss monster that Reki Kawahara kept a top secret until the screening

The present is so full of spoilers that it is said that those who haven’t watched the movie should definitely not read the book. For the fans who have already seen the movie, this is an amazing present!
