Comment by Shintaro Anzai (Kousei Arima)
‘This manga has already been adapted into an anime and a movie, and now it will become a stage play. I think there will be many scenes performed in ways that are only possible in a stage play, so I hope for everyone to look forward to seeing them. I myself believe that the theme of this story is “music”, and we will try our best to express the relationship of the characters through this theme. I think Kousei Arima is a very delicate character, so I will always keep that in mind while performing. I will try my best to respect the fan’s image of Kousei Arima and be faithful to the original story as much as I can. The original manga is such a fabulous masterpiece, so I will put all my heart to be faithful to the story and express it as realistically as possible.’
Comment by Arisa Matsunaga (Kaori Miyazono)
‘Your Lie in April is one of my favorite manga series and I started reading from the beginning of its serialization. I’m sure there are many fans out there who love the original story and the characters. Kaori Miyazono is a girl who builds an honest and strong relationship with Kousei through music, so I hope to build such relationship with her too. I am looking forward to expressing both the colorful and painful atmospheres of Your Lie in April on the stage. I will put all my effort into playing the role of Kaori, so that everyone at the theater would see their exact image of Kaori on stage, and so that she can always live on in the hearts of the audience. I wish for all your support!’
