MANGA.TOKYO has sniffed out about a special collaboration between the Kaiji spin-off series, Chukan Kanriroku Tonegawa and Pucchin Pudding.
In the latest issue of Young Magazine (Kodansha), released on December 5, there is a special short comic, Shucchou Bankai-hen Chukankan Kanriroku Tonegawa that features Pucchin Pudding.
This special short serialization was written to celebrate ‘Pucchin Referendum’, the web campaign that determines which style the majority of people support, the style to eat pudding from the container or the style to eat pudding after turning it over onto a plate.
In this tie-up episode of Chukankan Kanriroku Tonegawa (Written by Tensei Hagiwara, and illustrated by Tomohiro Hashimoto and Tomoki Miyoshi), the main character Tonegawa suffers severe distress in deciding which style the company’s chairman Hyodo supports.
This is also available on Kodansha’s special website so go check it out.
In addition to this, the latest issue has the short episode ‘Gyokuza’ illustrated by original Kaiji author Nobuyuki Fukumoto. The short episode also shows Tonegawa’s hectic days supporting the venturous chairman Hyodo.
