Kentaro Okamoto’s Sounan desu ka? manga about four high school girls who stranded on an uninhabited island after a plane crash, will get an anime adaptation. The series released a first key visual and trailer
The series is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s Young Magazine. A stage adaptation of it was performed in 2018. The fourth paperback volume of the manga will come out on 6 March 2019.
The four main characters are Homare Onishima voiced by MAO, who makes the best of the survival skills her father taught her, the gymnastics girl Asuka Suzumori voiced by Hiyori Kono, the book-smart glasses girl Mutsu Amatani voiced by Kiyono Yasuno, and a real lady called Shion Kujo voiced by Azumi Waki. The series will be directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Happy Sugar Life) and produced at Ezo’la. The series is scheduled to start airing in July 2019.
