A new trailer has been released for Smile at the Runway, alongside some new character information and visuals! This second trailer newly introduces us to Chiyuki and Ikuto’s journey to becoming a top model and designer, and once again features the ending theme song ‘Ray of Light’, sung by K-Pop star & former TVXQ member Jaejoong. Kaoru Kizaki (VA: Ayaka Fukuhara)

Second year student at the fashion university. She is a student volunteer in the Tokyo Collection, helping out as a fitter. She is a fan of Hajime.

Ryunosuke Eda (VA: Amasaki Kohei)

Second year student at the fashion university. A childhood friend of Kaoru’s, he specialises in men’s fashion.

Yoko Takaoka (VA: Keiko Han)

As the principal of the fashion university, she has a huge network of people in the fashion industry at her fingertips.

Seira (VA: Yui Makino)

A popular catwalk model, both beautiful and capable. Regardless of her popularity or young age, she is not afraid to speak her mind which gains her further support. She often appears on TV in variety programs and is a bit of an airhead, but her success only grows.

Ayano Mai (VA: Mayumi Asano)

Director and designer of famous brand ‘Aphro I dite’. Japan’s top designer, famous worldwide, she is also Too’s grandmother.

Story

Chiyuki Fujito is 158cm tall and wants to become a model for the Paris collection. With such a small stature, she is constantly told that it would be best to give up, but she just can’t do it. That’s when she meets Ikuto Tsumura, who’s considering giving up on his dream of becoming a fashion designer to keep the peace in his family.
This is a story of two people who keep chasing their dreams.
