Fans of vampire stories might be interested in the upcoming Summer 2018 anime Sirius the Jaeger, which has been announced recently! It is an original anime (not based on a novel or manga) and the animation will be produced by P.A.Works. The series will be directed by Masahiro Ando.

The series is scheduled to start airing in July and we can already admire a first teaser trailer for the dark and action-filled story that features a mystical setting, bloody fights, and vampire teeth. The story is set at the beginning of the Showa Period (the 1930s) in Tokyo and tells a tale of deadly combat between vampires and their hunters. Both are looking for a mysterious item called ‘Box of Sirius’ (Sirius no Hako).

We also have a visual that shows the main character and werewolf Yuliy while he is fighting a vampire. His hometown was destroyed by vampires. Yuliy will be voiced by Yuto Uemura. Other cast members include Takahiro Sakurai, Kenyu Horiuchi, Nanako Mori, Yusuke Kobayashi, Shunsuke Takeuchi, Rie Takahashi, Junji Majima, Takehito Koyasu, and Kenjiro Tsuda.

Last but not least, the series will be available worldwide, since the series will be produced by Warner Brothers. This also makes the official website of the anime available in English and they have even written some of their posts in English on their Twitter account.
