Shingeki no Bahamut: VIRGIL SOUL will be making its TV anime debut in Spring 2017. They have recently released the second short movie, and also announced a present campaign on Twitter! The series will be broadcast on the Animeism slot of MBS, TBS, CBS and BS-TBS as well as by Saga TV. It’s covering more regions than its predecessor, Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis.

The 10-minute original movie connects the previous work with the new series. It features the story of Kaisar Lidfald, a chief of the Orleans Knights, and the leader Jeanne d’Arc. Go Inoue is playing Kaisar, and Megumi Han will play Jeanne. Please look forward to seeing the fierce training scenes of sword art and the casts’ passionate acting.

The present campaign will be held on Twitter. Follow the official Twitter account (@baha_virginsoul) and retweet the post of the campaign. 5 people will be chosen by lottery among the participants to win a script with signatures from Sumire Moroboshi (Nina) and Yuichiro Umehara (Charioce XIII) will be given. You can participate until March 4. The winners will get a direct message on Twitter.

Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul is based on the social game created by Cygames. It’s a sequel to Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis that was broadcast on October 2014 and it will air for 2 cours. Keiichi Sato is directing, and Naoyuki Onda is handling the character designs and animation direction. The animation will be produced by MAPPA, known for Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni and Yuri!!! on ICE.
