The new anime adaptation of Blade of the Immortal has revealed a second trailer. The trailer doesn’t hold back and features fight scenes, blood, and passion in every frame. In the second half of the video, we can also hear the opening theme ‘Survive of Vision’ by Kiyoharu.
The first two episodes of the series will become available on Amazon Prime worldwide on 10 October 2019.
It’s the Edo period, when samurai still exist. There is an ‘immortal’ man who is said to have slain 100 people. His name is Manji. Manji meets a girl called Rin, who has sworn to get revenge on the people who killed her family. She asks Manji if he is willing to become her bodyguard on her revengeful journey. At first he refuses, but then he sees his sisters face in Rin and agrees. Rin would be in danger if she went alone, so he decides that there is no other way but to lend her a helping hand. However her enemy turns out to be a group of swordsmen called Itto-ryu. That meant that a fight against death had started – even for an immortal man like Manji.
