Planet With will be turned into an anime in Summer 2018!

It is an original mecha story based on a 1074-page-long storyboard by Satoshi Mizukami. A manga adaptation of the story will also start serialization on 28 April in Shonen Gahonsha’s Young King OURs, drawn by Mizukami himself.

On 23 March 2018, the official website and Twitter account for the anime have been opened and revealed the main staff, main cast, a key visual and teaser trailer. The director of the series will be Yohei Suzuki (UQ Holder!) and he will produce the anime at studio J.C.Staff. The cast includes Atsushi Abe, Sayaka Harada, and Shiori Izawa.

Mizukami commented, ‘It’s been four years since I first heard about this project. I have been waiting so long for this day.’ When he was asked to look back on the preparation period, he said, ‘I think it really is good. I would be happy if everybody liked it.’ He added, ‘We are also publishing a manga, so I hope you will watch well over both, the anime and manga.’

Furthermore, there are plans of turning the mechas of the series into figures. Details for the figures will be announced at a later date.
