Masami Kurumada’s and Chimaki Kuori’s manga Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho has revealed a new key visual for the upcoming anime adaptation.
The visual shows Scorpio Milo carrying the heroine Shoko in his arms. It has also been announced that the opening theme ‘The Beautiful Brave’ will be sung by Aina Suzuki (voice of Shoko), M・A・O (voice of Kyoko), Inori Minase (voice of Saori), and Megumi Nakajima (voice of Mii). The ending will be sung by only Shoko and Kyoko and is titled ‘Hohoemi no Resonance’. Both songs will be released on a CD, together with a character song titled ‘Arasoi Shi ni Yuku Mono-tachi ni Shukufuku wo’ by M・A・O and an instrumental version of each song. The CD comes out on 26 December 2018. On the same day, they will also release a soundtrack CD including all the background music used in the anime.
The anime will be available through Amazon Prime Video from 10 December 2018, 19:00 (JST). The series will also be airing its first two episodes on 24 December 2018, 19:00 (JST) and the rest of the episodes from Episode 3 on will be airing every week starting 7 January 2019.
Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho is set immediately after Saint Seiya and focuses on the characters and Saints around Saori.
