Upcoming Spring 2017 anime Sagrada Reset (Sakurada Reset) has revealed a new visual and a broadcast date. The anime series is going to begin on 5 April.
The anime is also going to host a special talk show at the huge anime event ‘AnimeJapan2017’.
The story of Sagrada Reset takes place in the town of Sakurada, where around half of its residents hold special abilities. Kei Asai has the ability ‘Memory Retention’, which allows him to retain the memory of anything that happened in the past. Misora Haruki has the ability to ‘reset’ the world back to up to 3 days in the past. When Misora resets the world, it also affects her, and she loses her memories of before the reset. By teaming up with Kei, who can remember anything no matter what, they can essentially change the past. 2 years ago, they lost their classmate Sumire Souma due to the effect of a reset. Since then, the pair have been part of the school’s ‘Service Club’ and take on the requests of their fellow students while searching for a way to bring back Sumire. One day, they receive a request to bring back a dead cat and from that day on everything changes.
The key visual features the Sakurada tetrapods that become central to the story, along with main characters Misori Haruki and Kei Asai, with Sumire standing in the background.
The anime will premiere on 5 April at 23:30 on Tokyo MX. It will air in other areas of Japan in the following days.
We also have the visual of the main antagonist, Eri Oka. She will oppose protagonists Kei Asai and Misori Haruki. She will be voiced by Yuka Aisaka.
Aisaka said, ‘Volition so strong it hurts. Fragility. The internal conflicts that a middle-schooler has to go through. I put all my effort into portraying these.’
