Re:Zero revealed that the anime will have a second anime season. The series uploaded a teaser video and a new visual.
Yousuke Kobayashi, Rie Takahashi, Yumi Uchiyama, Inori Minase, Rie Murakawa, Satomi Arai, and Takehito Koyasu will be reprising their roles in the second season.
The series also revealed a promotional video for the upcoming Re:Zero Hyōketsu no Kizuna (Freezing Bond) OVA!

The first season of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- aired in Spring 2016. The first OVA, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow, opened in Japanese theaters in October 2018.
