The first volume of the manga Shinju no Nectar by Kenetsu Sato was released on 19 May 2017.
The manga is based on a Hiroyuki Yoshino story and takes place in a fantasy world. Sakra and her brother-in-law are the only survivors of their country and are chased by monsters. While running away, Sakra summons a so-called ‘human’ named Kai to protect them, but he doesn’t have the power to do so. But then Sakra gives him her ‘nectar.’ She feeds him milk from her breasts and turns Kai into a great warrior.
Yoshino and Sato have already worked together on The Qwaser of Stigmata (Seikon no Qwaser), a manga where Alchemists and Qwasers fight each other, drawing power from the holy breast milk known as ‘Soma.’
In the comment section of the first volume, Yoshino writes, ‘Sucking breasts and becoming stronger… It has been 10 years since Qwaser and I thought the idea of it would catch on, but so far nobody has tried to copy the idea. So I had nothing left to do but do it myself again. Let the war over breast milk begin!’
