Osomatsu-san will have a special collaboration café at the indoor amusement park Tokyo Joypolis in Odaiba, Tokyo, in commemoration of the upcoming second season. It will take place from 8 May 2017-2 July 2017 and will feature attractions and goods themes after the anime. In the key visuals for this event, we can see the sextuplets sporting the Joypolis uniform and looking like they work part-time at the amusement park.
On the main stage, fans will be able to enjoy the music video of the first season’s theme song or digest videos including projections, lighting, and laser shows. On the attraction ‘Half-Pipe Tokyo,’ you can sway up and down the half-pipe to the rhythm of Osomatsu-san songs. The sextuplets have also made their way to the ‘Joypolis Explorer.’ If you clear the course, you will receive a commemorative picture in an Osomatsu-san frame. There is also an attraction called ‘Lola and Carla The Beauty Contest’, where you can see cardboard cut-outs of the sextuplets dressed as hosts. And if you clear a game in the ‘Carnival Game Corner’, you get an original prize only available at Tokyo Joypolis.
You can even find the Matsuno brothers at ‘Dippin Dots Ice Cream’ on the first floor. They will be selling colorful soda floats with the images of the sextuplets on them. At the Frame Café, you can enjoy a menu inspired by the boys, like the ‘Osomatsu Onii-chan’s Special Ankake Yakisoba.’
Finally, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the main stage will hold a special event called ‘Osomatsu-san Nazotoki Game Riajuu no Kyoui kara Dasshutsu in Joypolis’ (Osomatsu-san’s mystery game, escape the threat of happy people in Joypolis). Those who manage to clear the game will get a special clear-badge. Those not able to clear it will get a regular badge as a consolation prize.
