O Maidens in Your Savage Season (Araburu Kisetsu no Otomoe-domo yo) released a first key visual and a few character introductions! The voice cast for the introduced characters has also been announced. Kazusa Onodera will be voiced by Hiyori Kouno, Niina Sugawara by Chika Anzai, Momoko Sudo by Momo Asakura, Hitoha Hongo by Tomoyo Kurosawa, Rika Sonezaki by Sumire Uesaka, and Izumi by Shimba Tsuchiya.

The series will start airing in July 2019.

The anime is based on a manga by Mari Okada (Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day) and Nao Emoto (Soredemo Boku wa Kimi ga Suki). The manga started serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in Dezember 2016. Kodansha USA has licensed the title and will digitally publish the chatpers in April 2019.

Kazusa Onodera (VA: Hiyori Kouno)

She’s a regular, delusional girl and member of the literary club.
Because Niina talks about how she wants to have sex, Kazusa starts to think about it, too. Recently she has started to become interested in her childhood friend Izumi. Her favorite book is Momo.

Niina Sugawara (VA: Chika Anzai)

She is a mysterious member of the literature club.
When they talked about ‘Things you want to do before you die’, she brought chaos to the club by answering with ‘sex’. She is such a beautiful girl that she is often called the ‘jewel in a dunghill’ by people around her. Her favorite book is Story of the Eye.

Momoko Sudo (VA: Momo Asakura)

Kazusa’s close friend and member of the literature club.
Her nickname is ‘Mo-chin’. She hasn’t ever been in love until now. Her favorite book is Flowers for Algernon.

Hitoha Hongo (VA: Tomoyo Kurosawa)

A member of the literature club who radiates the aura of a mysterious author. To write her own novel, she is trying to learn a lot about genders. Her favorite book is Coin Locker Babies.

Rika Sonezaki (VA: Sumire Uesaka)

She loves literature and is the manager of the literature club.
She considers herself refined and doesn’t like it when her classmates talk about sex. Her favorite book is The Twelve Kingdoms.

Izumi (VA: Shimba Tsuchiya)

Kazusa’s childhood friend.
He used to be a very relaxed person but in middle school he suddenly started to grow and is now considered a popular guy. He is a bit of a train geek.

Story

‘Give your “first time” to me, please’
Kazusa is one of five girls that are members of the literature club at her high school. One day they talk about things they want to do before they die and the answer of one of the girls throws the club into chaos. From that day on, the girls start to think more about sex.
