Kemono Friends will be collaborating with another zoo over the summer holidays, this time with the Non Hoi Park in Aichi. The collaboration will take place between 22 July – 24 September 2017.
Non Hoi Park will hold a stamp rally with the animals from Kemono Friends. Those who complete the rally and collect all 12 stamps get a can badge or their zoo picture on a postcard as a present. The amount of presents is limited each day, and will be given out on a first-come first-served basis. Furthermore, there will an animal guide, character panels exhibited, and many goods sold, such as can badges, acrylic key holders, T-shirts, and more. As a special highlight, five manhole covers have even been designed with Kemono Friends characters and can be seen from 11 August 2017.
Kemono Friends is a media mix project originally by Mine Yoshizaki, who worked on the character concept design. There are games, manga, anime, and even a stage play of Kemono Friends. The other zoo collaborations for this summer are in Osaka’s Misaki Kouen, currently in progress, the second will start on 15 July at the Tobu Zoo in Saitama and the third is scheduled to start on 22 July at the Nasu Animal Kingdom in Tochigi.
