Soubee Amako’s Nintama Rantaro first aired 25 years ago, and to celebrate this occasion, an exhibition will take place in Tokyo from 29 April – 7 May 2017.
Original illustrations of Amako, a ninja tool collection, and unreleased material of the anime will be displayed. There will also be a ‘Ninjutsu Gakuen Attendance Experience and Cultural Festival Corner’, where you will find a photo spot to take a commemorative picture or take a test to get a 25-year anniversary sticker. At the cultural festival, you will find plenty of stalls at which you can play games. For the event, illustrations of the Health Committee, the Physical Education Committee, and the Class Committee have been drawn. You can also buy goods only available at the exhibition and will get special presents if you spend a certain amount of money.
Throughout the event, Rantaro, Kirimaru, and Shinbei will appear at certain times to shake hands and take pictures with visitors. On 7 May 2017, a talk event will be held with Minami Takayama (voice of Rantaro), Mayumi Tanaka (Kirimaru) and Teiyu Ichiryusai (Shinbei). If you want to participate at the event, you have to purchase goods over 3,000 yen and you will receive an admission ticket. They are given out on a first-come-first-served basis.
