Winter 2019 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
2018 is almost out, guys and girls, and that means that another anime year is ready to take its place.
Warner Bros. Japan and Level-5 held a press conference on Saturday 10 February to announce that they will produce an anime film based on the Ni no Kuni video game franchise. The movie will come out this summer.

Yoshiyuki Momose (The Legend of the Galactic Heroes) will direct the film. Joe Hisaishi (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away) will compose the music. Akihiro Hino, CEO of Level-5, will be the executive producer and scriptwriter. OLM will animate the film.

The first game of the franchise, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, was released for PS3 in 2011. The fantasy RPG featured anime cut scenes from Studio Ghibli. The second game for the series, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, was released in 2018.
